Pictures

Madilyn is 4 1/2 months now, but here is her 4 month pic:) I love her smile! At her 4 month appt she weighed 16.8 pounds and 25.25 inches long. Big girl!

She was all geared up for another win from the Texans this past weekend but unfortunatly that did not happen:/ But she did look darn cute cheering them on...

We tried cereal by spoon for the first time. We usually just put a tsp of cereal in her morning bottle, which is what we will continue to do. She is sooo not ready for solids yet haha She wasn't feeling the cereal...

We tried on her swim suit just because I was bored and wanted to see how cute she would look in it. She wasn't feeling that either haha

BUT, she does finally enjoy her winkel! WIN!

Me and my baby girl:)

Also, baby Zachary's funeral was this past Sunday. Our september mama's group all lit a candle in his memory.

Also, I will be walking in the March for babies walk in April. I'll be walking for baby Dylan whos momma is apart of my september month too. For some reason it's not letting me make this a clicky.....

Things we love;)

I used to love these posts and still do from other people:)

Madilyn will be 4 months tomorrow!!

Okay, things that I am glad we have because maddy loves and helps me:)

1. The Itzbeen timer! We use this sucker all the time. We used it a lot at the beginning and still use it for nights now. When you are sleep deprived it is hard to remember the last feeding. So this little thing is a life saver!

2. Her starlight papasan swing:) She loves to swing and stair at the stars. It also really helps when she wakes up at 4am and is done eating and we want to go back to sleep for an hour or two. Put her in her swing and after staring at the lights for a little bit she falls asleep.

3. Baby Einstein Dvd's. She loves these things. When you need to shower and get ready and you are by yourself pop one of these dvds in and she will be mesmerized!

4. Bumbo chair:) She loves to sit up so when she is watching her baby einstein dvd she can sit in this chair

5. Her Lovie blanket:) Don't have a picture of it but she loves to eat and hold her blanket. We had one made with her name on it and she loves it.
6. Her sleep sheep. She likes the sound of the ocean or the rain:)

7. Vicks humidifier warm mist. She used to be so congested all the time. Tried steaming her up in the bathroom, sucking her nose, nothing worked until we bought this humidifier. My pedi said to get the warm mist one.

8. Her bath tub...This isn't the exact one, ours has a different pattern but she still loves it. She just loves taking baths period!

Things that we have that she hasn't really showed interest in yet. Hopefully she does because we already bought them all lol
Her seahorse...

Glowworm...

Sophie...

I also wish we would have only bought one infant car seat. We got two of the britax chapperone infant carseat for each truck.

We love this seat! But we realized that one with two bases would have been enough. Now we have to look into buying a convertible one...

Girlyness:)

I know some ladies are anti hairbows, headbands, the color pink, and tutus... WELL haha that is not me! Madilyn has all of these things and she is so stinking adorable. I taght myself how to make tutus this last weekend and I am addicted now! I have made 2 for Madilyn, one for her 9 month cousin, and one for my friends baby that is due in Jan. Here are some pictures!

Madilyn is doing good. Still breastfeeding and pumping for her. At her 10 week doc appt she was 23 inches long and 13lbs and 4oz. Doctor said she was in the 90th percentile and that we needed to try to cut back on her feedings. We are doing are best, but I am breastfeeding more now unstead of EP so its hard to know how much she is getting. She still wakes 1-2 times in the middle of the night which sucks but we are working on that also lol I am looking forward to her first thanksgiving!

What you looking at?!?

And on a side note....I have about 4 more pounds to go to get to pp weight and 11 to get to the weight I was when I got married 14 months ago...Hopefully the holidays dont ruin that lol

And to leave you on a big smiley note....

Halloween:)

Halloween was fun. Madilyn was the cutest pumpkin ever:) My mom, Madilyn, and I took my sister trick or treating. She carried two bags because my mom insisted on getting Madilyn some candy lol And my husband really wanted some even though I felt ridiculous trick or treating for a two month old. Oh well it was still fun. She is just getting so big. My husband always says each time he picks her up its like she has grown so much more from the last time.

It has started to get cooler here thank goodness! For a couple days our high was low 70's which meant the mornings were cold out. Now its back to a high of low 80's again which sucks. But I did get to dress Maddy in some warm cloths for a day or two:)

Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be 26 years old. I am so thankful for my baby girl and husband! Ii will be the best birthday so far I am sure. Planning to spend the morning with baby girl and then my husband is going to watch her for the afternoon while my cousin and I hit up a couple wineries! I can't wait:) First winery visit in a long time!

And of course I leave you with a couple pics:)

She is saying man I hate this headband mom!

Soooo tired....

Work issues

So as of Monday (6 weeks pp) I have started back at work a couple hours each day. This is because my husband quit his job on the oil rig due to unsafe conditions. He has been actively looking for a job since then. Hopefully he gets somethings soon! I am only working until he starts working. I am jealous that he gets to stay home with baby girl while I have to work. Part of the reason I had to come back was because we majorly needed money. About 3 weeks before I had Madilyn my work moved my to part time. That cut my money in half. Then once I had her I found out that since I was a part time employee now that I no longer could receive short term disability. ( I had been paying for my short term the whole 4 years I have been with this company. And at the beginning of the year I even upped my plan to pay more monthly so I could get more when I went out on maternity leave. All of this for nothing. Needless to say I was extremely pissed off! But nothing I could do about it because I need the insurance coverage for my daughter. We are not sure what we are going to do about my job but I know that we can't afford for me to only work part time and pay for Madilyn to go to daycare. Hopefully Brandon gets a job soon and after the 3 month probation time we can have insurance with his company and then I may quit my job here.

There is alot more I could say about my work situation and our money problems but it could get really long lol

My best friend had her baby girl 2 days ago! And my other really good friend just found her her and her husband are expecting in June:) Lots of babies around here.

I'll leave you with some pics...

My life now;)

Is all about Madilyn lol I love her so much! She will be one month old tomorrow! Can't believe she is getting so big;) My husband is still working out of town one week on and one off and he misses her so much when he is gone.

When I delivered her I was at about 190lbs. Now, one month later I am at 158lbs. So I still have about 10lbs to go to get to my pre pregnancy weight. Then another 7 to get to my goal weight. We are about to start going on walks since it is just starting to get nice outside.

We are still working on sleeping at night. She goes about 3 1/2 hours without eating which isn't to bad because I get a little bit of sleep....as long as she doesn't want to stay up for an hour at a time. She is still getting breastmilk. I have been EP'ing but just recently started breastfeeding again. So I plan to do both for now. My ultimate goal would be for her to have breastmilk till she is a year old. Hopefully I can do it!

She is about to wake up so I will update again soon. Hopefully I can start updating again on a more regular schedule.

Here are some pics:)
