9 WEEKS!

So here is a comparison of how much bigger I have gotten...
4 weeks vs today at 9 weeks.

A definite bigger belly...

How far along? 9 Weeks!
Weight gain/loss: Alright here it is....+8lbs! At this rate I am going to be 40+lbs at 40 weeks. I'm not a happy camper. But, I have had NO morning sickness...only extreme hunger all the time. I finish eating a snack or lunch and I am starving again soon. It sucks being hungy all the freaking time.
Maternity clothes? I did buy a pair of maternity short. This is Texas and we have already had 80 degree weather here. Definetely shorts and t-shirt weather. There was no way I would have fit into my size 4's from last summer. With all this weight I have gained I would have to buy 8's to wear. So I figured I would go ahead and get a pair of shorts to last me the whole summer. I plan to buy some cute summer dresses to live in today:)
Stretch marks? No new ones, but did buy some lotion to start using, even though it probably won't help.
Sleep? Been sleeping good, fell asleep by 8:30 a couple times this last week.
Best moment this week? I found out my best friend is also pregnant. Not a planned pregnancy, but I am still excited. She is probably due right around when I am. AND of course I got to see our little peanut!! It was amazing seeing that there really is a baby in there with a heartbeat;)
Food cravings: hmmm, I have been enjoying some chef boy rd ravioli.
Gender: Now I think it is a girl.
Belly button in or out? In
Movement? no
What I miss? My cousin came down to visit for a couple days and I missed drinking with her! Usually when she visits we party it up and this time I couldn't. But she was really happy for me when I told her why:P
What I'm looking forward to: Well, tomorrow we are going to buy our crib and changer that we are getting for less then half the price in the store.
Milestones: Baby is a fetus now!

Baby this week:

Baby is beginning to move and grow nipples and hair follicles. His pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and anus are all in place, ready to poop and pee a dozen times a day when he's born. Your baby's head is half the size of his body and his little chin is tucked into his chest. His tiny tail is beginning to shrink away, giving Junior a more human and less amphibious look.

Until now, all pre-babies look the same "down there." This week, however, your baby will begin to develop either male or female genitalia. In layman terms, your baby is beginning to develop her hoo-ha or his wee-wee. While you won't be able to find out the gender of your baby for several more weeks, the version you'll give birth to is being developed right now.

At this stage, your developing fetus is 1-inch in length, about the size of a martini olive (you remember martinis, don't you?) and weighs a mere 2 grams—a little less than a penny.

OUR LITTLE PEANUT:)

So here is our little peanut! Doesn't look like much but it was amazing seeing the heartbeat. I was so relieved when I saw that everything was okay. I am not crazy, there really is a baby in there lol Oh, and I was right about my due date! Baby peanut is due September 30th. I wasn't sure if it would be Sept 30th or Oct 2nd. I was charting and wasn't sure about those two days.... My weigh in at the doctors office was 155! WOW. Now on my defense it was early afternoon after I had eaten lunch and had about 2 liters of water to drink. So not sure how different that is from my scale at home when I weigh in first thing in the morning. Guess we will see when I weigh in on Friday.

I bought a pair of maternity shorts yesterday too. There was no way my size 4's would fit me from last summer. Even if I wasn't pregnant then I would still have to buy at least 6's to fit into. So I figured why not get a pair of shorts I could wear for the rest of my pregnancy. Because here in Texas it is short and t-shirt weather already, and will be till after I deliver this baby. lol We only get winter pretty much December and January.

After our appointment we called and told all the family and everyone was really excited! We had dinner with my parents and siblings and grandparents for my brothers 20th birthday last night. My grammy did a pencil and needle trick on me that said I was going to have a girl first and my second kid would be a boy. And now that my due date is officially in September I also think we will have a girl :) This whole time I believed it would be a boy. Guess we will have to wait and see. My husband got a little worried when My grammy did that trick lol He doesn't think he can afford a girl:P

8 WEEKS!

How far along? 8 Weeks!
Weight gain/loss: Gain...Also went up a whold bra size! These babies seem huge to me lol
Maternity clothes? No, but I mostly live in scrubs during the week so reality usually hits me friday evening:(
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep? Besides waking up about 4 times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom I have been sleeping pretty good.
Best moment this week? Had our taxes done and found out how much we were getting back:)
Food cravings: Juice with lots and lots of ice:)
Gender: I don't know, on the fence now lol I think when I know my exact due date I will have a better guess
Belly button in or out? In
Movement? no
What I miss? Wine
What I'm looking forward to: Well of course my doctor appointment this coming up Monday!! Get to see the baby:)
Milestones: Reaching 2 months is pretty big!

Baby this week:This week, your little tadpole is starting to look a little bit more human. Other exciting developments include:

Your baby's eyelids, ears, upper lip and the tip of his soon-to-be adorable button nose are forming.

Junior will also sprout webbed fingers and toes this week—which you'll be well aware of in a few months, as baby starts early gymnastics classes inside you.

Baby's tiny heart has separated into four distinct chambers and is really ticking now—at a rate of 150 beats per minute. That's more than twice your resting heart rate.

Your baby is now a little more than ½ inch long.

Baby Stuff

So, my mom has kinda gone crazy with buying baby stuff lol This kid already has alot of stuff! My mom already has about 3 bags of girl clothes and 1 big bag of boy clothes that she has bought over the last year. My mom is a big resalse shopper/ebay/craigslist person. Always looking for the best deals. So far these are what I have which I just got within the last couple days.
The Fisher Price Starlight Papasan Cradle swing I wanted:) She got it brand new in the box for only $75! In the stores it is $160. I am so excited aboout getting this in the mail soon! Can't wait to see it:)

She also just won the Beaba Baby Cook with a freezer baby food container and recipes for $60 off ebay. So I can make baby's food:)New in store is $175 w/ freezer container.

Over the weekend we got a Baby Trend Deluxe nursery Center. It is a pack in play, changer, and co-sleeper in one. This is the exact one that we got. It is a little girly, but not to bad:) Besides I don't think baby will know the difference. We got it for $75 and brand new in store is $170. They only used the co-sleeper for about 2 months and never used the pack in play or changer parts.

My mom also got us a portable bassinet that she paid $20 for. Don't have a picture of it though. She would have bought more but I have tried to tell her that we don't need everything that she is picking out! I appreciate it very much but I don't want her wasting her money on items that we won't actually need.So we got all this and only spent $230. I think that is pretty darn good. Especially since the cradly swing is new! So I am thinking with my mom's internet shopping we have saved roughly about $350!

Thomas Kinkade Nursery?

Yes, I am obsessed with looking at nurseries! I already have a good feel for what I want. I really dislike the rooms that have crap all over the walls. Like for a boys room I do not want a random football and baseball, etc. on the wall. I want the room to look like a pretty room that ins't specific to a baby. NOt sure if that makes any since lol Let me show you some visuals of what I like when it comes to nurseries....
What I like:

For a girl I am pretty sure I will do pink with green accents. And a boy will most likely be green too. Not sure why, but I don't really like blue for a boys room. Maybe I'm weird. Here are some examples of rooms that I do not like (sorry if you do, just not my style)....

I just don't like the randomness of it.

So I like the rooms that are half white and half a color with accents of another color in the room. Also my mom got me obsessed with Thomas Kinkade paintings. I have about 6 in my house. My mom bought them all for me and she also has tons in her house. She even did a thomas kinkade christmas tree this past year. All kinkade ornaments. So I figured why not do the type of room I want and add the kinkade feel to the nursery also? Kinkade came out with a disney collection that I love. I either want to do one big painting on a wall or a collage of smaller paintings....This is what I have in mind....

I just love all the colors he puts in his paintings!! Can't wait;)

7 WEEKS! BLUEBERRY:)

How far along? 7 Weeks!
Weight gain/loss: Gain and we will stick with that lol But I know some of it went to my boobs! I swear I have already gone up a cupsize!! Only like one bra fits me now and it won't soon. Time to go shopping.
Maternity clothes? No, but am going to hit up Target soon and by some cute dresses that will last for awhile.
Stretch marks? Hell, I don't know. I already had a bunch so I'm just shit out of luck.
Sleep? I love sleep:) It's my best friend.
Best moment this week? I told one of my best friends that I was pregnant over lunch a couple days ago:) She was so excited.
Food cravings: UGH, nothing. Seriously, yesterday i was craving a quesadilla but didn't get one, and thats just one day out of the whole week. Mid week I started having major food aversions to a LOT of food. The food I was craving two weeks ago sounds horrible now. Haven't even gone to that restaurant because I don't want to smell those foods.
Gender: Still guessing boy.
Belly button in or out? In
Movement? no
What I miss? Being able to fit into my size 4 jeans....Okay that was like 5 months ago but still miss it:)
What I'm looking forward to: Today is my dads birthday so we are going out to dinner:) Then Sunday we are getting out taxes done so we can find out how much we are going to get back!
Milestones: Baby is still growing. By the end of this week baby will be completely connected to me because the umbilical cord will be formed!
Baby this week:)

6 WEEKS!

How far along? 6 weeks
Weight gain/loss: We aren't going to discuss weight today ha
Maternity clothes? Nope, but have been thinking about getting a pair of American Eagle pants just a size bigger then normal.
Stretch marks? Same as before
Sleep? Been sleeping pretty good! I did break down and went ahead and ordered this pillow though:

Can't wait to get it!!
Best moment this week? I had an appointment with a nurse and got my bill for this baby and delivery. Which I think it pretty good actually! Thank god for insurance:) The appt. made things a little more real!
Food cravings: Dr. Pepper:)
Gender: Way too early, but we still think it is a boy.
Belly button in or out? In
Movement? nope
What I miss? Well, my parents just bought a new boat a couple days ago and I realized I won't be able to go out on it this summer! Sucks big time, I love speeding through the water and going to the beach. And we are going to the Rodeo twice next month and I won't be ablt to go on any carnival rides. So DH will have to take my sister all be hisself on the rides lol Oh joy for him;)
